Ingredients:

To Make The Lollipops:

  1. 4 big potatoes (boiled)
  2. Half cup grated cabbage
  3. Half cup grated carrots
  4. Half cup green peas (boiled)
  5. 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  6. 2 crushed green chilies
  7. 1 tablespoon red chili flakes
  8. 3 bread slices
  9. Salt to taste

To make the batter:

  1. Half cup Maida
  2. Half cup Cornflour
  3. Half teaspoon red chili powder
  4. 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  5. Water
  6. Salt to taste

To make the Sauce:

  1. 1 and 1/2 tablespoon oil
  2. 1 tablespoon chopped ginger-garlic
  3. 2 tablespoon red chili sauce
  4. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  5. 1/2 cup water
  6. 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  7. 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  8. A pinch of salt
  9. 1 tablespoon Cornflour with 2 tablespoon water

Method:

To Make The Lollipops:

  1. Take the boiled potatoes, peel them and crush them.
  2. To the mashed potatoes add 1/2 cup grated cabbage and 1/2 cup grated carrots.
  3. Then add 1/2 cup boiled green peas (frozen).
  4. Add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste.
  5. 2 to 3 crushed green chilies.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon red chili flakes.
  7. Take 3 bread slices and grind them into a fine powder and add this to the mixture (This acts as a binding agent).
  8. Add some salt to taste.
  9. Mix everything together.
  10. Apply oil to your hand and shape them (oval shape).
  11. Then insert the ice cream sticks into them.
  12. The same way makes all the lollipops.

To make the batter:

  1. In a bowl take 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (Maida).
  2. Add 1/2 cup cornflour.
  3. Then add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder.
  4. Add some salt to taste.
  5. Add little water at a time and mix well.
  6. The batter is ready now. It should be thick enough to coat the lollipops well.
  7. Take the lollipops one by one and dip them into the batter.
  8. Now take a Kadai at medium flame, heat some oil.
  9. Drop the lollipop pieces into the hot oil and fry them till they become golden from outside.
  10. Same way, fry rest all the lollipops.

To make the Sauce:

  1. Heat 1 and 1/2 tablespoon oil in a Kadai.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon chopped ginger and garlic, Saute it till the raw smell disappears.
  3. Add 2 tablespoon red chili sauce and 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder.
  4. Stir it and cook well.
  5. After this add 1/4 cup of water.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon soya sauce and 1 teaspoon white vinegar to the boiling water.
  7. A pinch of salt.
  8. Add thicker (1 tablespoon cornflour and 2 tablespoons of water). Continuously stir the sauce while adding this.
  9. It’s almost done now, switch off the flame as soon as it becomes thick.
  10. Now take each piece of the veg lollipop and coat it with the sauce.
  11. Serve it and enjoy these delicious lollipops.
